Capelo Corpo Santo on the east side of the Old Town, Funchal, Madeira. This lunchtime sketch turned into an afternoon sketch. Nice place to while away a bit of time!

It looks gorgeous. I love the white-washed walls and red roofs. Everything seems so clean and bright in this. :-)
ReplyDeleteOur friends thought I made it look better than is was in real life but it looked right and bright to me - I have rose tinted eyes!
ReplyDeleteYour friends are probably right, though without sitting there myself I cannot make such judgements. :-) Often watercolour pictures do look much better than the real thing (I think so anyway).
