Grateful thanks - blowing through a straw 03

Grateful thanks to the previous generation(s). My father would have been 100 years old this year, I'm 70 in 2 weeks time, our son is 40 and there's a grandchild due later this year. I'm from the lucky generation!

Autumn leaves in Dundee last Wednesday - using the Auryn app on my iPad - I like the watercolour effect.

England, Sheffield, Ringinglow

There's a small group of poppies in the cornfield opposite Firs Farm on Ringinglow Road. It's on my regular (3.5 mile) speed walk to buy the local paper. The painting is drawn from my memory/imagination - that's supposed to be Hangram Lane in the mid ground and Fulwood/Crimicar Lane in the background. The sheep have their own fields, trees are omitted for clarity! Can you tell I've bought myself some coloured inks.
